A top-down extraction shooter I’m building solo in Godot. The flight model is Newtonian and deliberately drifty. Ships carry real inertia, recoil shoves you around, and you counter-thrust to stop.

The twist is that loot has weight. Every Nexion you scoop adds mass to your ship, so an agile interceptor turns into a sluggish brick right as the sector’s radiation climbs and the threats escalate. Reach an extraction point, hold position while the jump charges, and you bank everything. Die on the way out and the run is gone. Your pilot carries across deaths. The ship doesn’t.

Under the hood it cross-breeds the twitch flight of Subspace and Power of Ten with the extraction stakes of Arc Raiders, running on a modular, data-driven weapon and ship system. Pre-production, and the one I reach for when I want to build something hard.
